June 26th, the 107th Annual Portia Picnic begins in Portia, Arkansas. Armbands will be available every night and are on sale at the Portia City Hall for $15 or at the Portia Picnic for $17.

 

Entertainment will include music and a light show at the pavilion on Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30. The music is hosted by Party Time Productions and will feature performances by Delta Fusion and the Gateway Cloggers on Thursday from 7-8 pm.

 

Friday, a karaoke contest sponsored by Rick Story will be held with a $50 prize provided by Lauren Richmond, registration will be from 6-7 with the contest being from 7-9 pm.

 

Entertainment for the 30th will be a baby show and performances by Lauren Richmond and Rick Story.

 

Sheriff Jody Dotson will have the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Mobile Command Center set up at the Portia Picnic and invites the public to stop in.

 

The Portia Picnic continues through the 30th.
