On Tuesday afternoon, Lawrence County officials along with assistance from Arkansas Game and Fish Lynn Fire Department and Strawberry Fire Department were called to Lake Charles to search for a missing boater.
Officials received a report of personal items being found at the courtesy dock at the Lake Charles boat ramp. Officials also discovered a pickup truck and trailer in the parking lot and an unoccupied boat found on the lake but the boat’s owner was no where to be found.
The body was discovered around 7:45pm.
The victim was identified as Ronny Lindsey, age 63 of Cord-Charlotte.
