Sheriff Charley Melton
The Izard County Sheriff’s Office has concluded an extensive investigation into alleged threats that were made at the Calico Rock High School. As a result, one juvenile has been arrested and charged. No names or further information can be disclosed due to juveniles being involved in this case.
The Sheriffs Office worked diligently with the Calico Rock School District, The Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Juvenile Probation Officers and Juvenile Court System to ensure the safety of our children and to expedite a resolve in this case.
