Judge Tim Weaver sentenced Terry L. Johnson, Jr. age 41 of Cave City to 240 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections with 389 days of jail time credit according to court documents.
Johnson entered a negotiated guilty plea to 55 counts of distributing, possessing, and viewing child sexual abuse material.
The Arkansas State Police received a tip in 2023 from Verizon that Johnson had violated its terms and conditions by “uploading three images that contained child sexual abuse material.”
Johnson’s cell phone was searched, investigators discovered numerous child sexual abuse images and internet searches.
Johnson was also ordered to pay all court costs and fees and to register as a sex offender upon his release from the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
