Independence and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office teamed up to rescue a man from a flooded road after the man drove around warning signs.
Authorities report that the man whose name has not been released drove around barricades southeast of Cord and into the Black River.
Authorities also said warning signs up in Independence and Jackson County not to drive through the area because the road is under water.
The man was issued three citations by the Arkansas State Police, one for each sign he ignored.
