Authorities are reporting the body of a 62-year-old man missing for nearly two weeks has been recovered from the White River.
Independence County Sheriff’s Office stated the body was found approximately 200 yards downstream from where the UTV went into the water.
The unidentified man disappeared on Saturday, March 18th near the White River north of Rosie Arkansas.
Authorities say the man was crossing a low water bridge when the incident occurred.
Independence County Sheriff’s Department, the Office of Emergency Management, Southside, and Northside Fire Departments, along with the Arkansas Game and Fish have been searching for him since his disappearance.
The name of the victim has not been released by authorities.
