Arkansas State Police reported that a Fulton County man was killed Friday in a one-vehicle crash on Hwy 62, west of Salem.
According to the report, Jerry Smith, age 75, of Salem was driving a 2016 Ford F-150 east on Highway 62 when the crash occurred at 3:25 p.m. on Friday April 1st.
The ASP Fatal Crash Report stated the vehicle crossed the centerline and traveled into the westbound lane then ran off the north side of the roadway, through a fence and into a field killing the driver.
ASP reported the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
