Coby Ryan Poe, age 32, was once again in a Randoplh County Courtroom today charged with Rape.

Poe was out on bond in a separate case involving sexual assault back in April 2021.

Poe was given a $250,000 cash bond for his new charges and remains in the Randolph County Detention Center.

The Rape charge stems from an incident that occurred in early June 2021. The State was represented by Sexual Assault and Child Victim Prosecutor John Pettie who made the bond recommendation of which was accepted by the Court.

John Pettie who represented the State at both hearings indicated that sexual assaults are the among the most heinous crimes perpetrated and the prosecution of those cases in an effort to find some measure of justice for victims is a priority for the Prosecutor’s Office

A Randolph County Constable has been arrested for attempted rape and sexual assault.
Coby Ryan Poe, age 32 was arrested and charged with attempted rape and three counts of second-degree sexual assault and pandering.
Poe is being held in the Randolph County Detention Center on $50,000 bond.
Investigators stated they’ve conducted several interviews involving multiple people, including one victim who alleges Poe requested her to send a picture with her shirt off and a minor who also claimed Poe attempted to rape her and sexually assaulted her on several occasions.
Investigators stated the arrest comes after months of investigations.
