Earl Chapman, 66 of Bono, was arrested today after a brief investigation by the Northeast Arkansas Human Trafficking Task Force and Homeland Security Investigations Child Exploitation Investigations Unit.
The unit received a tip that Chapman was possibly sexually assaulting a tender age child (under 5) in Bono, AR. Officers executed a search warrant on his home and confiscated computers, an iPad, and other electronic devices. Child pornography was located on at least one device.
Chapman was charged with AR 5-27-602 – Distributing, possessing, or viewing of matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child and will be held at CCDC to await a PC hearing.
