Details were released by the Arkansas State Police in Saturday’s fatal accident near Sedgwick.
According to the Arkansas State Police report 76 year old Donald C. Hackworth of Hoxie was killed in a one vehicle accident that occurred at 571 Hwy 63 near Sedgwick at approximately 11:03 am on Saturday.
The report states that Mr. Hackworth was driving a 2019 Ford F-150 pickup, the vehicle crossed the center turn lane and both southbound lanes, exited the roadway and struck a utility pole and a large tree. Weather conditions were listed as raining and road conditions were listed as wet according to the report.
The incident was investigated by Corporal John Qualls of the Arkansas State Police Troop B.
