Ruby Irene Vance, 90, of Walnut Ridge, passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab.  She was born January 30, 1930 in Denton to Dorthy Jackson and Lacy Theola Field Webb.  On October 7, 1948 she married Earl Glenn Vance, Sr. in Bono.  Ruby was a factory worker and homemaker during her life.  She was a member of New Hope Baptist church near Smithville, taught Sunday school class and ladies class.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Vance; daughter, Sandra Joy Clayton; brother, Clyde Webb; and sister, Ila Taylor.

She is survived by her sons, Earl Vance (Evelyn) of Vilonia, Larry Vance (Mica) of Lynn, Jerry Vance (Bobbie) of Eaton, Bobby Vance (Martha) of Hattiesburg, Mississippi and Terry Privett of Black; brother, Jackson Leon Webb of Walnut Ridge

Visitation will be Monday, February 10, 2020 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church near Smithville.  The funeral will follow at 12 p.m. with Brent Powell and John Durham officiating.  Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
