At 3:26pm Lawrence County dispatch received a 911 call reporting a 15 year old who had a head injury after jumping into the water at Sandy Beach in Black Rock. Black Rock Fire Department and Pro Med were paged to the scene. A medical helicopter from Survival Flight was requested to land at the scene.
At 4:00pm Survival Flight had one patient on board and was en route to Children’s Hospital.
