LITTLE ROCK – After a short break from winter, colder temperatures have returned to Arkansas. That doesn’t mean it’s not a good time to hit some of the state’s fisheries.

Fisheries crews from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission stocked over 1.9 million fish in Arkansas lakes and rivers during November. The total stocking weighed over 77,400 pounds. Sportfish stocked included trout, largemouth bass, crappie, bream and catfish.
