Today’s drug take back event was a huge success. Between the permanent Rx drop box and today’s event, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office collected 80LBS of old medicine to turn over to the DEA for safe disposal.
This is 80 lbs. of pills that will be off the streets and not end up in our children’s hands or in our ground water.
