On April 10, 2014 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and the Hoxie Police Department arrested Mickle Warnick , age 37 of Hoxie on charges of possession of a controlled substance (meth), possession of a controlled substance (Rx drugs) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest comes after officers were alerted to drug activity at Warnick’s residence. A check of Warnick showed him to be under conditions of SIS and on parole. The officers went to the residence and conducted an SIS search. Inside the residence the officers discovered meth ice, Rx drugs and items used to smoke and snort meth.
Warnick was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. Bond was set at $7,500 and a May 14 Circuit Court date was issued. The Parole office was contacted and a parole hold was also placed on Warnick.
