Two Men Arrested During An Undercover Drug Buy

January 3, 2013 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and Black Rock Police Department conducted an undercover drug buy from Thornton Eugene Lester ,age 29 of Imboden. Officers were able to buy meth from Lester using an informant and videoed the transaction. Officers went to arrest Lester and stopped the vehicle he was driving.

Winston Hitchcock , age 58 of Pocahontas was in the vehicle as well.

Officers placed Lester under arrest. Lester had marijuana; papers, a pipe and the marked drug buy money on him. On Hitchcock’s side of the vehicle officers found meth, prescription drugs and digital scales. Hitchcock was placed under arrest also. Both subjects were transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.

Lester was charged with delivery of a controlled substance (meth), possession of a controlled substance (meth, marijuana and prescription drugs) and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hitchcock was charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth and prescription drugs) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
