Female Sex Offender Arrested For Failure To Register

On March 06, 2013 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Pauline Lomax (35) of Walnut Ridge for failure to register as a sex offender. The arrest stems from investigators finding out that Lomax had moved from her prior address without notifying the Sheriff’s Office of her whereabouts. Deputies found where Lomax had moved to and went to that address looking for her. Deputies were advised by people at the residence that Lomax was indeed living there and would contact the Sheriff’s Office with her new address. Lomax did not contact the Sheriff’s Office and Investigators presented the information to a Judge. A warrant was issued for Lomax. Lomax is a Level 2 sex offender with 2 prior convictions for failure to register out of Craighead County. Lomax was found at the residence in Walnut Ridge and placed under arrest without incident. Lomax was transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing. Bond was set at $50,000 and a Circuit Court date of April 24 was issued at a hearing on March 7, 2013.Â
