(Walnut Ridge, Ark.) – Williams Baptist College alumnus Joshua Junyor will return to WBC for a Christmas concert on the piano Thursday, Dec. 6. The performance begins at 7 p.m. in the Maddox Center choral room.
Much of the concert will involve Junyor’s own arrangements of traditional Christmas songs.
The performance will also include a sing-along of familiar holiday tunes for the crowd, and Junyor will accompany vocalist Jill Pucik on one number.
Junyor graduated from Williams in 2011 with a bachelor of arts in church music degree. He served for more than 10 years as pianist at his home church in Fisher, Ark., and he has most recently served as pianist at Second Baptist Church in Siloam Springs, Ark.
He is also a member of the Arkansas Master’Singers, a group of singers and musicians from Arkansas Baptist churches who gather together throughout the year to sing at churches and at the Arkansas Baptist State Convention. Junyor plans to pursue a master’s degree in music.
There is no charge to attend Thursday’s performance, and the public is invited.
