On September 01, 2012 the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kim Gale Simpson (41) of Black Rock for Delivery of a Controlled Substance (meth). The arrest came after deputies received a tip that Simpson was selling meth from her residence in Black Rock. Deputies started watching the house and noticed large amounts of quick traffic from the residence. Deputies arranged to buy meth from Simpson using an informant. The informant went to the residence of Simpson and purchased meth. Deputies were able to get the transaction on video. The information was presented to a Circuit Judge and a warrant was obtained for Simpson. Simpson was picked up on the warrant and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
