Miss Deborah Killion will be serving as the counselor at the Imboden Area Charter School for the
2011-12 school year. Miss Killion has 16 years of teaching experience. She has a Bachelors Degree from
Arkansas State University in Radio/Television production with a minor in Dramatic Arts. In addition she
has a BSE in Elementary Education and graduate hours in Counseling Psychology. When asked what she
hoped to accomplish at the Charter School Miss Killion said, “I want to assist students with issues they
might face in the real world and teach them skills in areas that can help them in daily life and in planning
for their future.”

Miss Killion publishes family oriented films, is a published author of poetry. She also has written
and published songs and is a writer, director, musician and singer and does “Radio Theatre” on her own
internet radio station.

Mrs. Becky Anderson is a new teacher at the Imboden Area Charter School and has been assigned to
teach the fourth and fifth graders for the 2011-12 school year. Mrs. Anderson is no stranger to the
Imboden Area Charter School having served as Board of Education President for the past five years
before resigning to apply the teaching position. In addition, she has over six years experience as a
substitute teacher in grades kindergarten through middle school.

Mrs. Anderson holds a BSE in Elementary Education from Williams Baptist College. When asked
what she hoped to accomplish as a teacher at the Charter School Mrs. Anderson said, “I want to touch
the life of a child and see the light bulb come on when they grasp a concept you are teaching.”

She is married to Steven Anderson and they have two children Zack and Hannah. The entire
family enjoys performing on the stage of the Imperial Theatre in dance, singing and acting.
