“Most Wanted” Man From Cave City Busted At A Wrestling Event In Jonesboro After Tips From The Internet State His Location

 
Sheriff Jody Dotson of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Thomas Wayne Ashcraft of Cave City. Ashcraft was wanted in Lawrence County on a Bench Warrant for Theft Of Property with no bond.
 
Sheriff Dotson sent out a Press Release and added Ashcraft to the “Most Wanted” page on the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office Website. Sheriff Dotson stated that several tips came into the site stating the location of Ashcraft. Sheriff Dotson said several of the tips stated that Ashcraft would be attending a wrestling event in Jonesboro on Friday night. Sheriff Dotson alerted the Jonesboro Police Department to the tip and the Jonesboro Police Department arrested Ashcraft at the event and transported him to the Lawrence/Craighead County Line and turned him over to Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies.
