Billy Cagle of Pocahontas is the latest off the “Lawrence County Most Wanted” to be arrested. Sheriff Dotson announced that Cagle was arrested for probation violations from an April 2009 conviction which Cagle was sentenced to 48 months probation.
Cagle also had failed to see his probation officer as directed and moved away without notifying his probation officer. Cagle was also ordered by the court to pay restitution to the property owner from the theft and court cost, which he did not.
A warrant was issued for Cagle and Sheriff Dotson added him to the Lawrence County Most Wanted list on the Sheriff’s website. Deputies located Cagle and placed him under arrest for the warrant and is currently being held in the Lawrence County Jail with a $5000.00 bond. Cagle is scheduled to appear in Circuit Court on June 29th.
