At 5:36 am the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department, Ravenden Volunteer Fire Department, AET Ambulance And Law Enforcement were notified by the Lawrence County Dispatch Center of a 3 vehicle accident at Hwy 63 and Lawrence 106, involving 2 passenger cars and one semi truck.

Firefighters and EMS arrived to find both lanes blocked and several injured in the accident. One victim was taken by AET to the Imboden Fire Station and Air-Evaced to a local hospital with serious injuries, another was transported by AET Ambulance to Lawrence Memorial Hospital and a third was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital.

Witness reports indicate the two cars hit nearly head-on sending the north-bound Cadillac into oncoming traffic where it was stuck a second time by the south-bound semi truck.

The accident is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police with assistance by the Ravenden Police Department and the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

Ravenden and Imboden were on scene until shortly before 8 am. A crew from the road department was dispatched to put sand on the road to absorb the vehicle fluids left in the highway.
