Shortly after 10am on Monday, the Imboden Volunteer Fire Department was called to the scene of a one vehicle rollover on Hwy 62, two mile outside Imboden.

Imboden responded with it’s Rescue 4 truck and AET Ambulance from Imboden. Chief Chris Jones called for mutual aide to be dispatched from Randolph County. Pocahontas Fire Department and Medic One responded for additional help.

Once on scene, firefighters were faced with an SUV upside down in the middle of the road with an injured female trapped inside. Imboden firemen using it’s extracation tools (Jaws of Life) cut the drivers door open and were able to remove the driver of the vehicle. The driver, who’s name has not been released at this time was transported by AET Ambulance of Imboden to a Pocahontas hospital.

The accident is being investigated by the Arkansas State Police and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office.
