On March 1st the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department arrested Nathaniel Urlacher of Walnut Ridge for theft of property. The arrest came after a Lawrence County resident reported that her vehicle, a Dodge Durango, cell phone and $140.00 in cash had been stolen on Feb. 12th.
On Feb. 15th officers recovered the vehicle abandoned in Walnut Ridge. Officers gathered more information and came up with Urlacher as a possible suspect. A photo lineup was done and the victim was able to positively identify Urlacher as the man who stole her property.
A concerned citizen called and reported that Urlacher was staying at a residence in Walnut Ridge, officers responded and Urlacher was placed under arrest and transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
