Captain Jody Dotson of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Anita Soltero of Black Rock for possession of a controlled substance, Meth.
The arrest came after a traffic stop in Black Rock, deputies spoke with the driver, Soltero and she appeared to be under the influence of something. Deputies then conducted field sobriety tests on Soltero, she failed.
Soltero was placed in the patrol car to be transported to the Lawrence County Jail for further tests. Once placed in the car, Soltero advised the deputy that she had meth hidden in her bra. At the jail, Soltero gave the meth to the jail matron. Soltero is currently awaiting a bond hearing.
