Captain Jody Dotson of the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Hardy man, October 21st in Imboden.

Lawrence County Dispatch Center recieved a 911 call of a reckless driver between Imboden and Black Rock headed towards Imboden. Deputies responded to the area and stopped the vehicle in Imboden. As deputies spoke with a female driver, a passenger in the vehicle identified as Beau Adams of Hardy appeared to be attempting to hide something.

Deputies questioned Adams about what he was doing and then were given consent to search the vehicle. Inside the vehicle deputies found a baggie of meth near Adams seat. Adams was placed under arrest and mirandized. Adams was charged with possession of a controlled substance, meth.

Adams told deputies that the meth was his and that the female driver was unaware of the meth in the vehicle. Adams was transported to the Lawrence County Jail to await a bond hearing.
