Misty’s currently offers Zumba fitness classes twice daily Monday and Tueday at 10 am & 6 pm and Wed,Thurs. & Fri. at 10:00 am & 5:00 pm.
When Imboden Live sat down to interview Misty she displayed the same excitement telling us about her passion to bring a quality fitness opportunity to Imboden’s residents that she must bring to the studio leading Zumba fitness classes.
Misty is a certified Zumba instructor who began her own weight loss journey over a year ago. She explained how stumbling onto her first Zumba fitness class hooked her instantly on the workout that didn’t feel like the typical boring exercise program.
Zumba uses a mix a latin rythms like salsa, samba, merengue in with hip-hop, belly dancing, and more into a mix of moves that are easy to learn. It’s possible to burn 500-1000 calories in a class! Zumba is for all activity levels. Misty said that her typical class size varies from 8-30 people with age ranges from 11 yrs. old to 60+! Each class is one hour long and she is looking to add more classes in the future.
Misty went on to tell us how her fitness classes not only offer residents of this area a chance to exercise without having to drive some distance but also time to spend with friends, meeting new people, and having fun. It’s a program that everyone can participate in even if you think your out of shape by following her moves at your own pace. If your already in shape it’s a nice break from the same old/same old routine of walking or following a taped workout.

Misty’s Zumba class pricing is $3 per class for walk-ins, $25 punchcard for 10 classes, or $35 for unlimited access for an entire month. With Misty’s offering 35-40 classes per month it’s a great value!
