The Imboden Volunteer Fire Department has been very busy in the month of December.

December 4th the IVFD reponded to a small brush fire on 4th street and later responded to a “gas smell” called in at the Sloan-Hendrix Campus which turned out to be a false alarm.

December 7th the IVFD responded to a medical call at 11982 Hwy 62

December 8th the IVFD responded to a medical call at 2690 Squirrel Road

December 9th IVFD responded to a structure fire at 105 North Hickory Street in Imboden

December 11th IVFD responded to a wreck at Hendrix Street and Hwy 63 involving a Semi Truck hitting a guide wire and damaging an Electric pole

December 11th IVFD responded to 209 Georgia Street to assist a resident

December 13th IVFD responded to a medical call on Hwy 115 and later a 1 vehicle accident on Hwy 63 south of Imboden

December 15th IVFD responded twice to 173 Lawrence 224 on a medical call

December 17th IVFD responded to a wreck on Hwy 63 just south of Imboden

December 19th IVFD responded to a medical call at 110 South Virgina Street

December 20th IVFD responded to a medical call at 173 Lawrence 224 and also a one vehicle fatality wreck on Hwy 63 at Robin’s Tire Shop

December 25th IVFD responded to a medical call at 1302 Dickson Street and another medical call at 204 South Main Street

December 26th the IVFD responded to a medical call at 848 Rush Lane in Randolph County, another medical call at 173 Lawrence 224 and a wreck on Hwy 63 in front of Iberia Bank involving two vehicles

December 28th the IVFD responded to a medical call at 221 South Main Street
