Branch Librarian Laura Hubler arrived to work at the Bobbie Jean Memorial Library in Imboden, Arkansas to find the glass front door had been broken Monday,November 23rd. Upon further investigation Mrs. Hubler discovered a large rock inside the library that had been thrown through the glass door.
The incident was reported to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department at around 10:00 a.m. who took a report via phone. Nothing was taken or missing from the library thankfully.
A local glass company was called to replace the door later today. As soon as Mrs. Hubler swept up the shattered glass the library was once again open to patrons. If anyone knows of any information concerning the break-in please contact the Lawrence County Sherrif’s Department.
