Imboden’s Celebration in the Park featured great entertainment provided by local talent. Celebration attendee’s kicked back in their lawn chairs to enjoy the live music, hot dogs, hamburgers,drinks, and fellowship.
The Murphy Bluegrass Boys thrilled the crowd with their hand clapping bluegrass tunes. My personal favorite was their rendition of “In the Pines”.
Mike Mcleod also took the stage singing a wide variety of country, blues, and older rock tunes while playing his guitar and harmonica. You can catch Mike playing at local restaurants in Hardy or Imboden most weekends.
Celebration in the Park is an annual event sponsored by local business woman Judy Henderson to honor those serving in the military and veterans.
Big thanks to Mrs. Henderson for organizing this wonderful community event that is free of charge to the public.
