Cherokee Village authorities have arrested a male after he allegedly ran over his passenger and leaving the scene.
According to reports, on Wednesday night shortly after 9 pm, CVPD was dispatched to 105 East Lakeshore Drive for a female that had been run over.
A witness stated a red truck had pulled into her driveway and the occupants got out the truck.
The witness stated to authorities that she opened her garage door and witnessed a subject later identified as Justin Hale get back into the truck and run over the victim as he sped away.
Authorities arrived on scene finding the victim severely injured.
The victim was air-lifted to UAMS in Little Rock.
The vehicle used in the assault was later found abandoned on Nine-Mile Ridge Road.
Justin Hale was arrested at the Ponderosa Motel at around 11:00pm that evening.
Hale is currently in the Sharp County Jail awaiting formal charges.
