The Arkansas State Police released its fatal crash report on a fatal accident that occurred on May 25 on Hwy 62/412 in Sharp County.
According to the report, 87 year old Gearldine W. Azil of Ash Flat was killed in the accident. Billy Azil age 89 of Ash Flat and Brent Figgins age 42 of Cherokee Village were injured in the two vehicle accident.
According to the report the 2019 Buick driven by Billy Azil was traveling south on Hwy 62/412 when a 2022 Ram truck driven by Figgins attempted to make a left turn colliding with the Buick.
The crash occurred at 11:15am on May 25th.
The accident was investigated by the Highland Police Department according to the report.
