Randolph County Sheriff Kevin Bell first notified residents that a semi-truck had driven through a guard rail and off into the Current River on Hwy 67 in Randolph County.
As emergency personnel were responding to the first accident, a rescue truck belonging to the Biggers Reyno Fire Department was involved in a second accident.
Sheriff Bell stated no injuries were reported in the first accident but a passenger in the rescue truck was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
