The Arkansas State Police released the identity of the person killed in an early morning accident outside Sedgwick.
Max Arthur Johnson, age 60 of Whitworth was killed when the 2017 Mack traveling northbound struck the rear of another northbound semi truck before veering off into the ditch.
Hwy 63 was closed or partially closed for several hours. Sedgwick Fire, Walnut Ridge Fire, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies, MedicOne Ambulance and Arkansas State Police were all dispatched to the scene shortly before 6am on Tuesday morning.
The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police.
