An early morning accident that involved two trucks closed Hwy 63 for hours on Friday morning.
Shortly after 6 am the Lawrence County Dispatch Center received reports of the accident, Black Rock Fire, Imboden Fire, ProMed Ambulance, Medic One Ambulance, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies, Black Rock Police and Arkansas State Police were all notified.
One person was transported to a Jonesboro hospital for treatment of injuries.
Traffic was rerouted for nearly 3 hours before officers were able to begin to move some lanes of traffic.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, no names have been released at this time.
