On February 1, 2024, officers with our ICAC division received a cyber tip on child exploitation being uploaded to an online account. The username and phone number associated with the account were also provided.
After an extensive investigation, a search warrant was obtained for the account, and numerous videos and images were located that depicted child pornography. The owner of the account, 22-year-old Nicholas Britt, was arrested on March 19, 2024. He appeared before Judge Boling for a probable cause hearing and received a $150,000 cash/surety bond.
