A multi-vehicle crash on Monday has left one man seriously injured and another man dead according to the Arkansas State Police.

Authorities say the crash happened at 8 a.m. on February 26th on Hwy 63 near Bono in Craighead County.

According to the ASP preliminary fatal crash report, John Miller age 41 of Hardy was northbound when he pulled his 2008 Chevrolet into the middle turning lane and stopped to turn left into Hawkeye Truck and Wrecker Sales.

Authorities say a southbound 2009 Ford driven by Michael Wade, age 53 of Pocahontas crossed into the center turning lane and struck Miller’s vehicle head-on.

The impact of the crash pushed Miller’s vehicle into the northbound lane where it was struck a second time by a northbound 2020 Mazda and a 2023 Dodge.

The report states that Wade’s vehicle came to a stop on the northbound shoulder facing south.

Both men were transported to Regional One Health in Memphis, the report stated that Wade was pronounced dead.

The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police.
