The Arkansas State Police reports a Newport man died after a two-vehicle accident in rural Jackson County on Wednesday morning. The report stated the accident occurred at 8:25am.
The ASP fatality report stated that Harley L. Liles, age 59, was killed when the westbound 2022 moped he was driving on Hwy 384 was struck from behind by a 2014 GMC Acadia.
The driver of the Acadia, whose name was not listed on the report, was not injured.
