Authorities are reporting a Marion County man has been arrested and charged with murder in the Christmas night stabbing death of his nephew.
Marion County Sheriff announced that Stephen R. Fitzpatrick age 67, of Everton, Arkansas was arrested after his nephew, Lucas Cody Jewell, age 43, of Yellville, was found deceased at a residence on Marion County Rd. 5013 on Monday night.
Authorities report that Jewell’s body had what appeared to be a stab wound.
Jewell’s body was transferred to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy.
After a brief investigation, Stephen R. Fitzpatrick was arrested, charged and is being held at the Marion County Jail on a bond of $150,000.
