Walter Frank Monard, 67 of Walnut Ridge, died October 17, 2023, in the care of Legacy Hospice at Lawrence Hall. He was loved by many, and enjoyed watching Smalltown, and the Fast and Furious movies.
He was born January 5, 1956, in Pheonix, AZ; son of the late, Phillip and Grace Monard. He was a jack of all trades and a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the Marines.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one son; one nephew, and many other relatives and friends.
Going on in life is his two daughters, Holly Monard, and Tara Emitu; two sons, Ben (Sarah) and Josh Monard; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Rose Monard, Noah Gene McManners, Hunter Clyde James Shatsar, Eren Lucas Price; three brothers, Phillip, George, and Scooter; one sister, Ann Denney; and many other relatives and friends.
The family would love to send their “Thanks” to the many of people that helped take care of him and come pay your respects at a Visitation on October 22, 2023; from 2 P.M. till 4 P.M. in the Bryan Funeral Home in Hoxie. Interment of his cremains will take place in the Randolph Memorial Gardens in Pocahontas at a later date.
