On September 23rd Black Rock Police were advised of a pickup truck partially off in the Black River at Hidden Beach.
When BRPD went to investigate the incident they encountered Karrie Lee Ward of Powhatan.
Ward was discovered to have both Meth and drug paraphernalia on her person.
Ward was arrested and charged with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and felony possession of meth.
Ward was taken to the Lawrence County Detention Center.
