According to Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson, the following individuals were incarcerated last week (8/15/23-8/21/2023). An average of 74 inmates were housed in the Sharp County Detention Center daily.
Kaden Bailey, 18, of Evening Shade, was arrested for Failure to Appear on Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Public Intoxication, Prohibited Weapon, Minor in Possession, Expired Tags, No Proof of Liability Insurance.
Melvin Bell, 52, of Williford, was arrested for Harassment.
William Berkhoff, 68, of Arkansas, was arrested for Body Attachment, Hold for Other County/State.
Victor Chatman, 63, of Batesville, was arrested for Failure to Appear on Driving without a Driver’s License.
John Childrey, 63, of Cherokee Village, was arrested for Probation Revocation-Failure to Comply, Contempt of Court, Domestic Battering-3rd Degree, Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree-Damage >=$1000<$5000, Public Intoxication.
Donald Cotton, 53, of Cherokee Village, was arrested for Driving on Suspended/Revoked DL, Possession of Sched. VI LT 4OZ, Vehicle Lights Defective/Improper Signal Lamps and Signal Device. Failure to Appear on Endangering the Welfare of a Minor-3rd Degree, Domestic Battering 3rd Degree.
Henry Durham, 21, of Cherokee Village, was arrested for Violation of a No Contact Order.
Jennifer Engelbrecht, 37, of Williford, was arrested for Failure to Appear-Misdemeanor x4 on Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct, Probation, Filing a False Report, Public Intoxication, Pedestrian Crossing at other than Crosswalk, Contempt of Court on Drinking in Public.
