One Vehicle Crash At Greene/Lawrence County Line; Child Airlifted to Memphis Hospital
At approximately 6:00 pm this afternoon, Paragould Emergency Services received a 911 call advising of a one vehicle rollover crash just inside Greene County near the Cache River bridge. Initial reports indicated that a juvenile was entrapped in the vehicle. Due to the location of the crash, emergency responders from both Greene and Lawrence County were requested at the scene.
The child was freed from the vehicle and was transported to a Memphis hospital via air ambulance. The status of the child is not known. The driver was taken into custody as a result of this crash.
The Arkansas State Police responded to this crash and will be investigating the crash as well handling the arrest according to the Greene County Sheriff.
