On Tuesday Morning the Independence County Sheriffs’ Office, 16th Judicial District Drug Task Force, Arkansas State Police, Batesville Police Department, Mountain View Police Department, Izard County Sheriff’s Office, and the 3rd Judicial District Task Force executed a search warrant at a residence on Cave Creek Road.
The Resident there was taken into custody and is identified as Daniel Willis.
During the search warrant 741 Grams of Methamphetamine, 219 Grams of Marijuana, 16 Marijuana plants, $29,596 dollars in cash, and a 300 Win Mag rifle were found.
This is following an investigation that has been on going.
Daniel Willis was transported to the Independence County Detention Center placed on a probable cause hold pending the filing of formal charges.
