Margaret L. Adams, 88 of Hoxie, passed away July 25, 2023, in the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born July 19, 1935, in Walnut Ridge; daughter of the late Homer and Iva Sue Woods Lovelady.
Margaret was united in marriage to Wesley Dale “Blue” Adams on May 1, 1954. She was a Nurse providing care in the Randolph County area and mainly at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed traveling and animals.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Dale in 2018; daughter, Tonda Adams; and two brothers, Home Carol and Douglas Earl Lovelady.
Survivors include her four children, Terry Marlin of Oil Trough, Tammy Finley of Ravenden, Jerry Dale Adams and Jackie Kohler both of Hoxie; three grandsons, Jimmy Dale Marlin, Ivin Finley Jr., and Adam Finley; four granddaughters, Samantha Powell, Shannon Ealey, Kimberly Secrest, and Sarah Kohler; sixteen great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren; one sister, Aileen Harden of Walnut Ridge; many other relatives, friends, and her dog, Sally.
Graveside services will be Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 10 A.M. in the Lawrence Memorial Park with Chris Secrest officiating.
