Mary Mable Bookout, 81 of Walnut Ridge, died Saturday July 22, 2023 at her residence.
She was born August 15, 1941 in Hoxie, AR to Perry Hutton and Ruth Johnson Hutton. Mary loved her family and was a caretaker for everyone. She spent her whole life caring for her family. She loved working in her yard. Mary was of Baptist belief and loved her church. She attended Old Walnut Ridge Baptist Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Ruth; husband, Jerry Bookout; brothers, James Hutton and Jerry Hutton; and sisters, Ruth Martin and Alice Hutton.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Bookout of Walnut Ridge, son, Mike (Lanae) Bookout of Saffell; granddaughters, Suzy Colburn, Bailey (Andrew) Williams, Sydnee (Mason) Reeves, and Codi Martin; great-grandchildren, Cody Colburn, Dylan Colburn, Adah Williams, Falynn Reeves, aand Maddox Reeves; brothers, Perry Hutton, Waymond (Jackie) Hutton, & Levi (LuEllen) Hutton; sisters, Doris Ripley, Sharon (Reggie) Freeman, Rachel Hutton, Shirley (Robert) Tribble, and Elisabeth (Keith) Nichols.
Visitation will be from 9:00AM-9:30AM at House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
Graveside services will begin at 10:00AM at Austin Cemetery in Old Walnut Ridge with Mitch Bell officiating.
Services are under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Homes of Walnut Ridge and Lynn, Arkansas.
