The Arkansas State Police reports that on Wednesday 61-year-old Michael Alvey of Yellville was killed and 52-year-old Shawn Johnson of Yellville was injured when Johnson crossed the centerline and hit the front of the vehicle that Alvey was in.
The report says Johnson was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
The accident occurred on Highway 62/412 at the east city limits of Yellville.
The accident was investigated by the Arkansas State Police.
