Authorities have arrested Cody Lee Goodman after a reported domestic assault incident that occurred in Black Rock on Friday.
Law enforcement responded to the 300 block of 5th Street in Black Rock at 3:35pm on Friday. The suspect fled from authorities on foot.
A medical unit responded and transported the female victim to an area hospital for treatment of injuries.
After a brief search of the area, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies spotted a subject matching the description of Goodman walking on the Black River Bridge.
Goodman was taken into custody without incident, he was taken to the Lawrence County Detention Center and charged with Domestic Battery.
Cody Lee Goodman is a parolee and has dozens of arrest ranging from Assault to Drug Charges in Clay, Greene, Randolph, Lawrence and Craighead counties.
