The Benton County Sheriff’s Office announced the passing of former Sheriff Keith Ferguson.

Early this morning Sheriff Keith Ferguson lost his fight with a long battle with cancer.
Sheriff Ferguson was born July 14, 1943 in Clover Bend, AR. He began his career in law enforcement as an Arkansas State Trooper in 1969. After 32 years as a state trooper, he was elected Sheriff of Benton County. He held that office From January 1, 2003 through December 31st, 2012
